Added functions and improvements to the Capcom Arcade Stadium series. In the Edmond Honda stage of the Strike II series, the background changes
Cap com distributed the latest updates for Cap com Arcade Stadium and Cap com Arcade 2nd Stadium on November 7. We have added functions that make both works more comfortable and easier to play.
Cap com Arcade Stadium and Cap com Arcade 2nd Stadium are works that can enjoy many masterpiece games in Cap com. A total of 32 titles of games of a wide range of genres are recorded. The main unit is distributed for free and is provided in a format that purchases each game as DLC. Both works are being distributed for PC (Steam)/Nintendo Switch/PS4/Xbox One.
In this update, the fastest firing function was first added as an additional factor. It is a function that allows each game (excluding some games) to fire and synchro fired, and the play using continuous fire is more comfortable. It can be set at the fire speed in Controller Settings. In addition, a camera operation function that allows you to turn on/off the camera operation by the right stick during game play is added. You can set on/off in System Settings.
In the shooting game Super Floating Fortress Eyed Exes included in Cap com Arcade 2nd Stadium, a function that can set the language used for name entry has been added. You can choose from Japanese and English in Game Settings.
In addition, functional improvement is being implemented. The list of games you own, GAME LIST, can now launch the game. In addition, the game settings that have been changed for each game are saved. You can return all games to the initial state at once. These function improvements are implemented in Cap com Arcade Stadium and Cap com Arcade 2nd Stadium.
In addition, the background design of Edmond Honda's stage has been changed for the following four works of Street Fighter II series.
・ Street Fighter II-The World Warrior-
・ Street Fighter II ‘Turbo-Hyper Fighting-
・ Super Street Fighter II X-Grand Master Challenge-
・ Hyper Street Fighter II-The Anniversary Edition-
There is no explanation from Cap com for specific changes, but when I checked it in Street Fighter II-The World Warrior-, it seems that some background murals were adjusted. Edmond Honda's stage is a public bath, and there is a mural with a large Mt. Fuji in the background. In the space on the left side of Mt. Fuji, the sun was added before the update, but after the update, a thin cloudy sun was added. The design of this sun is also used in Street Fighter V and Ultra Street Fighter II The Final Challengers.
In fact, when the Cap com Arcade Stadium was released, this Edmond Honda stage attracted some attention. The sun and Schizo were drawn in the original version of the mural sky, but as described above, it was described plainly. Probably, Cap com is considered to have been corrected in consideration of the possibility of being criticized by some countries, reminiscent of the Ash flag, reminiscent of the original version of the sun (related article). Until now, it has been a slightly murderous background, but as a result, it seems that a new solar design has been adopted in this work.
Cap com Arcade Stadium and Cap com Arcade 2nd Stadium are being distributed to PC (Steam)/Nintendo Switch/PS4/Xbox One.
