New World: January patch is coming shortly - developers give more insights

The newest update to New World may expect the fans this week. In a video, the developers not only give an insight into the content changes in the January update, but also an outlook on what is planned for the game in February.

New World: January update will probably appear this week

Although the patch notes for the January update are already known, the developers in a video yet give a deeper insight to the upcoming changes in New World. In a good 38 minutes, Game Director Scot Lane and his team not only explain what changes, but why they decided. In addition to information on January update, there is already first details of another patch in February.

Among other things, it is about the introduction of the dungeon mutations as a new challenge in the endgame and the associated upgrading system through the Umbralsplitter. The mutations should give it sometime for the low-stage dungeons . There are currently some balance problems that need to be resolved.

According to the developers, you are planning the release of a patch on the live servers and two and a half weeks after the release on public test servers.
